In my last post, I previewed the stylish Emporia Elegance mobile phone for seniors. This time We'll look at the Elegance's partner, the Solid. Both od these handsets were showcased at the recent MWC in Barcelona.The Elegance exudes style while the Emporia Solid emphasis toughness. This cell phones for seniors is a rugged phone that's resistant to water and dirt. It can als withstand a few bumps and bruises so its ideal for users who have a tendency to drop their phones.
The Emporia Solid is also targeted to adventuring seeking users who want to bring along a simple handset while on the outdoors. Of curse, this does not discount seniors because they can also be fans of adventure sports.
Like the elegance, the Solid is equipped with senior-friendly features including a high contrast display with large and easy to read fonts, huge keys, extra loud ringer and hearing aid compatibility.
This cell phone for seniors also include Bluetooth and senior users have the option of adding a distress call button.
The Emporia Solid is also expected to released on Spring 2010. However, it's more expensive than the Elegance ($175) at roughly $275.
